Student input and support are critical to the success of the NU Libraries.
Our Purpose
The Student Advisory Council is intended to provide a forum for students to communicate with the library on existing and new library services and initiatives, including collection development and access to information, services, space use and facilities, and technology.
Membership and Volunteering
The Student Advisory Council is made up of 14 undergraduate and graduate students at Northeastern University. The Academic Affairs representatives from Northeastern's undergraduate Student Government Association and Graduate Student Government serve ex officio. The Council meets with library staff approximately 2-3 times per semester.
If you are a current student interested in serving on the Council, please apply online.
