Library Student Advisory Council

Our Purpose

The Library Student Advisory Council (LSAC) is intended to provide a forum for students to communicate with the Northeastern University Library on existing and new library services and initiatives, including collection development and access to information, services, space use and facilities, and technology.

Membership and Volunteering

The Library Student Advisory Council is made up of undergraduate and graduate students at Northeastern University. The Library actively seeks representation from a variety of students at Northeastern University, including students with disabilities, international students, students who have completed a co-op, students who have completed an NUin semester, and online students. The Academic Affairs representatives from Northeastern's undergraduate Student Government Association and Graduate Student Government serve ex officio. LSAC meets with library staff approximately 2-3 times per semester. Meetings are held in Snell Library on the Boston campus at 4:00 pm on Thursdays.

If you are a current student interested in serving on the Library Student Advisory Council, please apply online.
